Stacy Scates and Jessica Kramer invite you to a 3-day workshop on the Wheel of Consent. The Wheel of Consent is a powerful tool to improve the quality of your relationships, your touch, and your sense of safety, while creating clear agreements so you can experience satisfying connection to yourself and others.
Gaining skills of empowerment and communication—noticing, valuing, and trusting desires—having the courage to ask for what you want, and feeling safe enough to receive
Understanding the dynamics of giving and receiving and taking them apart
Making choices— learning about personal agency and how to choose for yourself
Waking up sensuality—feeling and following pleasure
Understanding consent (beyond sex and intimacy) and clarifying who is doing what, and who is it for
Building self-trust and discovering why that is important for maintaining healthy relationships
Learning to identify, and communicate your limits
Identifying and exploring Yes and No somatically
This workshop is about:
This workshop is for anyone who was impacted by the LA wildfires and is interested in building agency and self-trust, learning more about themselves and improving the quality of their relationships – personal or professional, with friends, parents, children, colleagues or lovers. No prior experience necessary. For those who have been exposed to the Wheel of Consent, and those who haven’t, there are always new levels of discovery to be found in this workshop.
When natural disaster comes along, life takes a journey that often disconnects people from their sense of agency, right to consent, and ability to feel safe and settled. We hope to offer a workshop that allows people to connect (re-connect) with each other and a sense of agency, rest, and well-being.
