Supports the emotional, physical, and relational wellness of women, couples, and families. Rooted in cultural responsiveness and trauma-informed care, we blend talk therapy with body-based practices to support deep embodied healing.
Our seasonal healing model recognizes that transformation is cyclical. We hold space for clients to align with natural rhythms that honor the cycles of change. With space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect, we help clients communicate their needs with clarity and compassion, so they can thrive in their relationships, families, and communities.
Our Mission:
We support the healing of women, couples, and families through culturally responsive, body centered therapy—honoring the seasons of life, the wisdom of the body, and the power of truly being seen.
Our Vision:
We envision a world where healing is communal, care is culturally rooted, and women feel safe, supported, and empowered in every season of life. A world where families grow stronger through connection, and wholeness is nurtured at every level—body, mind, and spirit.
SLS Family Therapy…
Hello, I'm Stacy, a licensed marriage and family therapist, yoga instructor, bodyworker and sound therapist. I believe that our body, mind and spirit are inextricably linked. As our bodies and mind change over time, so does our self-image. Through repeated interactions with the outside world, we are shaped personally, professionally, and relationally with our loved ones. When we feel seen and cared for by others, it fosters a sense of ease and a more positive self-image, ultimately leading to improved health and deeper intimacy.
My practice emphasizes the importance of our relationship with nature. I actively promote and teach Ayurvedic principles, which encourage a dynamic connection with the five elements - Ether (space), air, fire, water, and earth. For thousands of years, this connection has proven to be the most sustainable and accessible pathway to achieving and maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. In our fast-paced modern lives, it's crucial to re-establish harmony with nature to combat feelings of overwhelm, disease, and a distorted sense of self. My therapeutic approach encompasses talk therapy, tailored yoga sessions, breathwork, Ayurvedic lifestyle education, Marma therapy (a form of bodywork utilizing skillful touch of specific energy points for relaxation and clarity of mind) and sound therapy.
At the core of my philosophy is the belief that we are all seeking connection, deeper intimacy, and joy. Through body-centered awareness, our work together can help you to explore and understand your sensations, emotions, thoughts and actions so that you can have more authentic experiences of connection, intimacy, and joy.
I work with individuals, couples and families with the following issues: Anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and intimacy. I also work with women dealing with chronic pain and emotional dysregulation, and grief due to conditions such as PCOS, Endometriosis, Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts and Adenomyosis.
In my practice, I prioritize play and pleasure over perfection and precision. Embracing these principles allows us to establish a positive relationship with both our bodies, and the natural world.
